Once again, the system of justice, incarceration and social control has indicted itself right before our eyes. If Mr. T Martin's family couldn't get a modicum of closure and affirmation of their son's humanity and right to live, what have we? The criminalization of the imagined scary black man now covers not only wholesale police murder, but CIVILIAN profiling, harassment and street justice! Would be unbelievable, except that it is now a crushing reality for our youth. Children!
