Enough is Enough

Well, here we go, dammit. Angry just got off a typically insane, inane voyage with my most ruthless nemesis, NYC's MTA. Holy crap, if you guys haven't decided to Fuck the Fare Hike, and Walk Thru on March 1, 2013, I don't know if there's any hope for ya.

I'm waiting at my lonely Brook Av station when a #6 rushes by making the unscheduled and unfair "no-stop", so that the well-heeled on Lexington Av can have their usual every 7 minutes service. No shock -- happens a lot in the Bronx, but I did get frosted at the 15 minute wait that ensued. The madness continued when we finally did get picked up by a passing #6. Yeah, the conductor informs at 66th St that there will be no stop at 59th!!! A most-trafficked, top 10 stop citywide! Then we end up stopping at 59th anyhow; tough toenails for all the poor slobs that got off to wait for the proverbial (and often fictional) "next train". I can't in words convey my disgust, my rage, the hilarity and sadness of the whole wicked joke being played on riders. Suffice to say: Fuck the Fare Hike - Walk Thru March 1, 2013.
