Censoring Myself for Success

No, not myself. A really world-reknowned recording artist, K'naan of Somalia, lately of NY, he has written an Op-Ed with this title for the Sunday (12/09/12) NY Times go here. It chronicles a bit of his career, and offers a remarkably keen insight to the biz, the art, growing up, youth culture and the soul of man; all topics of great contemporary interest (to me, if not you). K'naan's letter begs the question: what chance does the truth stand these days? The answer would be "slim to none", except for the fact that the Truth, is in fact, true. One's spirit bears witness to it (that's biblical). Truth distinguishes itself and embarrasses the fake and phony. Read K'naan, then consider the gaits of some/most? of our other artistes. These people are beyond embarrassment; am I?
