If you missed Public Enemy at CP Summerstage a coupla weekends ago, I can't make as though you are there. The motor on my camera that was going to be a hand-me-down to my amazing daughter died, so you don't even have my photos!
What you got here though is the spirit of their message which they took no shorts in attempting to let all realize the power of collective action. Maybe that's what AngryBronx is really all about. Crying out into the dark of cyberspace, hoping that someone hears, reacts by getting unafraid to move -- no matter how slight that initial stutter step!
Anyway, long story short, Chuck and Flav wanted to let the audience know that--over OUR Airwaves we should have choice over what gets played. All the NYC artists that are absent from our fave commercial stations should be playlisted, or else. Where are KRS-One, Welfare Poets, Dead Prez (yeah, go there), name 'em! Whey dey at???
