#MADIBA, #NevilleFRANKEL and #BLOODLINES -- Bravo!!!

Neville Frankel has written a novel. It's a story in 4 voices, both old and young, of many colors, and about love, life, remembrance and loss. In other words: it could be yours or mine. Humans'.Last night I had occasion to be at a wonderful place on Earth, to hear parts of this beautiful human chronicle and reminiscence, to hear uplifting, angelic music and to dine on thoughtful, nutritious and delicious cuisine! In #Brooklyn, no less. See -- Angry's not angry all the time, and we do leave the Bronx (of course). The atmosphere was joyous, with a strangely delightful spiritual overtone which is tough to describe. Kinda close to the feeling you get when you enter a sanctuary where you are aware immediately of the Presence... but much more funky. You must visit (link above!). Neville must also be seen to be believed. An accomplished author who unenthusiastically returned to his South African patria only at his kids request, but discovered that their longing to know from whence they sprung was cultural memory imparted from him--and that their desire was his yearned-for destiny. Does that make sense? Read Jung, or better yet, get Neville's BLOODLINES. I'm reading it now and am going to make sure it gets into our NYPL.
