There are many good reasons to get on board the Angry Express! We are going to ID double-crosses and stickups that we the people get burned with every day. I personally intend to seek remedy from Storage Deluxe's ripoff of the taxpayers, PA recipients and people who already have enough problems. Check this out:
Storage Deluxe has been operating as some kind of loan sharking gang by charging a $30 late fee per month for all payments booked after the fifth. That may be in the contract, but the "billing fee" never was. I'll explain.
Let's see how they do it:
1) a fake-ass "billing fee" of $1.00 shows up on your account before, let's say, December is over. Whether you are fully paid in advance or not, this $1.00 charge will create an overdue for you because it's one more buck than you were expecting.
2) Storage Deluxe now waits until, let's say January 5, 2010. On that day, if the dollar hasn't been paid (how would you know?) then the $30 is added and your property is held hostage at an interest rate in excess of 500,000.00%!!! Yes, half a million per cent. Since when did you open up an account with Storage Deluxe Bank?
Wellllll, enough is enough. This web site is the first shot in getting media attention focussed on this criminal-behaving enterprise. Post your own stories and watch for the next step. 7 On My Side, or Help me, Howard or some other interested outlet is going to have to cover this 'cause we're going to keep up some serious noise til they do.
